The blade is a multi bar piece. 13 layer twist and straight bar with 1070 edge.
John forged the bars and Kerry welded, forged and ground the blade.
The handle is purpleheart with brass knot work mounts designed by R.E. Piland.
The pommel and guard are mild polished steel.
